Miwako Van Weyenberg is a Belgian-Japanese screenwriter and director. She graduated from the RITCS. With her Bachelor graduation project HITORIKKO, she won the VAF Wildcard; her Master graduation project IL FAISAIT NOIR was nominated for several international festivals. Her last short film SUMMER RAIN (2017) was produced by Prime Time. SOFT LEAVES (2025) is Miwako’s first feature film.
