Daphne, a teenage judo athlete from a remote Greek island, is ready to spread her wings and follow Sensei Yuri to the big city and ultimately to the next Olympic Games. Yuri, for unknown reasons, has been absent from the world of Judo for the last few years, and he is looking for a new beginning, while Daphne transitions from the carefreeness of adolescence into the hard world of adults.

Giorgos Georgopoulos (b.1975) is a Greek filmmaker educated in directing at the Likourgos Stavrakos School in Athens, with further studies in sociology in Rome and European culture at the Hellenic Open University. He has worked as a film editor and as a director and producer across documentaries, television, and commercials. His films include TUNGSTEN (2011), THE OUTCASTS (2012), EDUCATION FOR WHOM (2015), and NOT TO BE UNPLEASANT, BUT WE NEED TO HAVE A SERIOUS TALK (2019). His work has received major recognition, including Best Film and Best Director at the Cyprus IFF, Best Film at the Transilvania IFF, and honours at the Thessaloniki and Sarajevo IFFs.
