Angela, a deaf woman, and her hearing spouse, Héctor, are expecting a child. Their relationship is upended by the baby's arrival, and Angela must deal with the difficulties of parenting her daughter in a world that isn't meant for her.

Eva Libertad (b.1978) is a screenwriter, director, and sociologist with a degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her filmography also includes SORDA (short, 2021), MENTISTE AMANDA (2024), co-directed with Nuria Muñoz Ortín, which won Best Short Film at Medina del Campo and was a contender for the 2025 Goya Awards. DEAF/SORDA, developed from the short, is her debut film.
