Mohamed Siam’s debut, WHOSE COUNTRY? (2016), premiered at NYFF and was distributed by Kino Lorber. His feature AMAL (2017) opened IDFA, won the Sheffield Jury Prize, and screened at over 100 festivals. Along with being an Alumnus of Sundance, IDFA Academy, La Femis, La Fabrique des Cinémas du Monde in Cannes, Berlinale, Durban, and Beirut Talent, and a recipient of the Robert Bosch Film Prize and the Thessaloniki award. Siam is a jury member in Karlovy Vary, Göteborg ff and many more, as well as a fellow scholar and filmmaker resident at the American University in Paris.
