In an effort to provide her unborn child a brighter future, Sartika, a young woman who is pregnant, leaves her city. She meets Maya, a Pantura coffee shop owner. Maya looks after Sartika and assists with her deliveries. After Sartika delivers birth, Maya tricks her into working for her as a kopi pangku waitress, a position in which a woman serves coffee on a man's lap, until she eventually meets and develops feelings for Hadi, a fish distributor truck driver. Will she be happy?

Reza Rahadian (b.1987) is an Indonesian actor born in Bogor who began acting in high school and developed his craft across television, film and theatre. His filmography includes PEREMPUAN BERKALUNG SORBAN (2009), HABIBIE AND AINUN (2012), RUDY HABIBIE (2016), HABIBIE AND AINUN 3 (2019), MY STUPID BOSS (2016), IMPERFECT (2019) and GADIS KRETEK (2023). His work is defined by emotional versatility across historical, dramatic and comedic roles. His awards include multiple Citra Awards for Best Supporting and Leading Actor, Best Actor at the Asia Pacific Film Festival for RUDY HABIBIE, and honors at the Indonesian Movie and Maya Awards.
