CARAVAN KARAVAN ZUZANA KIRCHNEROVÁ

Ester, 45, has built her entire life around caring for her son David, who has Down syndrome and autism. Their bond is deep, but years of responsibility have left her drained. While visiting friends in Italy, David’s behavior creates tension, and they are asked to sleep in a caravan. That night, Ester drives away. As they travel through southern Italy in the old camper, Ester begins to imagine a different life. Meanwhile, David slowly opens up to the world and to Zuza, a free-spirited drifter who joins them. Together, they discover connection, balance, and a fragile sense of freedom.
