Mary Bronstein (b.1979, White Plains), is an American writer, director, & actress based in New York City. She studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and appeared in Ronald Bronstein’s FROWNLAND (2007) before making her directorial debut with YEAST (2008), which premiered at South by Southwest and became a cult classic of independent cinema. Known for her raw, auteur-driven style and unflinching focus on complex female characters. Alongside filmmaking, she has written on feminist theory for academic publications. IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU is her 2nd feature film.
